Within the framework of the project "Women's access to land", the Public organization "Bonuvoni Fardo" of the Khatlon region is working to improve the rights of rural women on the way to formalize the right to use land. These enterprises are conducted in the border regions of Tajikistan: Shahritus, Nosir Khusrav and Kubodien. The organization's coach and consultant travel to remote rural jamoats to hold informational meetings and raise awareness of their rights for rural girls and women.

 

Our organization has been working on land use issues for 4 years. At the moment, more than 400 rural women and girls have successfully received certificates that guarantee them the right to use land. More than 3,800 rural women and girls attended information sessions and received advice on various land use issues. This initiative was supported and funded by the Mama Cash Foundation/Netherlands.
