Confidence in the future for rural women and girls is provided by state registration of land and property. How important it is to know and have a “safety cushion” in this difficult “economically turbulent” time. The crisis and unemployment make rural women and girls especially vulnerable. In this case, land ownership and property ownership come to the rescue. To make rural women and girls aware of this, within the framework of the Women's Access to Land project, the team of the PO "Bonuvoni fardo" conducts explanatory trainings among women and girls of the villages of Shahrituz and Nosiri Khusrav on the legal aspects of land use, the development of land reform and gender aspects of economic violence, qualitative land use and safe food, strengthening of shelterbelts, activates their participation in the process of state registration. An experienced lawyer lobbies for these rights with local governments and service organizations. This initiative is supported by the Feminist Foundation Mama Kesh/Netherlands and is implemented as part of a 3-year project. We bring to your attention fragments of the project activities.
