On May 17, 2024, in the Shahritus district of Khatlon region, with the effective cooperation of 2 civil society organizations "Hukukshinoson" and "Bonuvoni Fardo", a seminar was held on the topic: UNIVERSAL PERIODIC REVIEW – ACTIVITIES AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL, supported by Helvetas Tajikistan. The seminar was attended by 30 representatives from among the staff of the Khukumat and jamotats, Mahalla leaders and activists, NGOs. Information was provided on the Universal Periodic Review of the UN Human Rights Council and the recommendations of the UN Human Rights Council were discussed within the framework of the third Universal Periodic Review (2021-2024). Participants actively discussed and debated the National Action Plan for the implementation of the recommendations of the member states of the UN Human Rights Council in accordance with the Universal Periodic Review (third round) on 2023-2026.
