On November 25, the "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" Campaign was launched, an annual international campaign in which civil society plays a leading role. It ends on December 10, Human Rights Day, indicating that violence against women is the most widespread human rights violation worldwide.

The "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign is a multi-year advocacy initiative aimed at preventing and ending violence against women around the world.

The 2023 campaign theme is COMMUNITY! Invest in preventing violence against women and girls

The public organization “Bonuvoni Fardo” of Khatlon region joined this campaign and held a round table dedicated to “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.” This meeting took place within the framework of the “Women’s Access to Land” project, financed by the Mama Cash/Netherlands foundation.

Violence against women and girls remains one of the most frequent and widespread human rights violations in the world. So let's not stand aside and work together to end violence against women and girls once and for all!
