Dekhkan farm "Zilola" of Shahritus district, headed by Chorieva Gulchehra, has more than 3 hectares of land, where 5 members of shareholders and 15 employees work. On the lands of the farm, 1 hectare of cotton is grown and more than 2 hectares of intensive orchards of new vineyard varieties. Members of the shareholders and employees of the farm worked without employment contracts and work books, mainly receiving in-kind wages in the form of agricultural products, because of which the workers could not get sick leave, childcare benefits, and pensions.

 

Chorieva Gulchehra was a participant of the round table held within the framework of the project "Women's rights in Labor". She enriched her knowledge about the Labor Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, learned about the obligations of drawing up labor contracts and work books for farm workers.

 

As a result of the discussion of women during the round table, Gulchekhra Chorieva realized the importance and responsibility before the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan, and, with the advice of a lawyer from our organization, introduced labor contracts for members of shareholders and contracts for employees, work books.
