Targeted social aid is aimed at supporting citizens in difficult life situations, including children without parents, pensioners, the disabled, and low-income families. This is an important social service aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and reducing poverty in the country.

To receive targeted social aid in Tajikistan, it is necessary to apply to the social protection local authorities of the population. When applying, you must submit documents confirming the fact that a person is in a difficult life situation. For 3 months, the public organization “Bonuvoni fardo” actively informed the population of Khatlon about this process within the framework project of the “Information campaign for targeted social assistance”. 18 information meetings were successfully held among 384 people with distribution of information sheets to raise awareness of the local population of the Shahritus region. In close cooperation, active work was carried out with the media: 6 thematic articles were published in the newspaper “Subkhi Shakhritus”, a video was broadcast 5 times on TV Khatlon TV and 7 posts and 4 videos were made in the social space. This project is supported by the international organization ACTED in Tajikistan and is being funded by UKaid.
