Within the framework of the project “Creation and support of a network of local activists and legal assistance centers, access to information and legal assistance”, the PO “Bonuvoni fardo” of Khatlon region continues its activities and provides free legal assistance to land users of Shakhritus and Nosiri Khusrav regions. For the second year now, the lawyers of the Legal Aid Centers have been helping rural residents in the legal issues of land use. Most often, legal assistance centers are asked for help on registration of personal plots and registration of real estate, registration of certificates for land and technical passports for property, obtaining a land share and a certificate for it, creating dehkan farms, inheriting the right to use land and property, taxing dehkan farms and water use on agricultural land. This project is funded by the DAI GLOBAL/USAID Tajikistan Agriculture and Rural Resources Management Project under the Feed the Future initiative.
