"TOGETHER TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS!"
As part of the global campaign "16 days of activism against gender-based violence", the Public organization "Bonuvoni Fardo" of the Khatlon region launched an information campaign to draw public attention to the prevention and counteraction of gender-based violence, to unite efforts to protect human rights.
16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence is an annual international campaign that began on November 25th and will run until December 10th.
This campaign is an invaluable tool for raising awareness of current issues and sustaining complex public debate about violence against women and girls.
Gender-based violence is any act of gender-based violence that causes or is likely to cause physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, as well as threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether in public or private life.
Gender-based violence is a gross violation of human rights and freedoms and has long-term consequences for millions of people in all corners of the globe.
KEEP FIGHTING!
