The national public organization "Bonuvoni Fardo," as part of the "Women's Access to Land" project, funded by the Mama Cash Foundation (Netherlands) in partnership with the NGO "MIR," held an event to mark the international campaign "16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence." The event, which was held at the Shahritus Vocational School, brought together over 60 young women and men.
The 2025 campaign theme is "Unite to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls." With the rapid development of technology, it is important to discuss digital safety, the rights of girls and women online, and the need for joint action to prevent any form of digital violence.
According to UN Women, gender-based violence remains a global problem: one in three women worldwide experiences some form of it. Therefore, educating young people, developing digital safety skills, and fostering open dialogue are key steps toward creating a more just and safe society.
