Environmental justice is the principle that every person has an equal right to clean water, fertile land, fresh air, and a safe environment. 🌱

This means:
🔹 No one should suffer from pollution simply because they live in a poor area or work the land;
🔹 Women and men should have equal access to natural resources;
🔹 Environmental decisions should take into account the interests of everyone – especially rural residents who directly depend on land and water.

The PO "Bonuvoni Fardo" is working on this issue as part of the project "Awareness of Rural Women in Promoting Sustainable Practices Contributing to Environmental Protection, Environmental Justice, and Security," supported by the GLOBAL GREENGRANTS FUND. It conducts awareness-raising work among rural women to enhance their role in environmental justice.

🌍 Environmental justice is not only about protecting nature. This is about protecting human rights and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live in safety and harmony with the environment.
